Hey everyone! This section of the newspaper will be about the club, SCA, and what events are being hosted by this club.
Would you like to help people in need and make them have a good Thanksgiving? Well, a great way to do this is to donate to the Thanksgiving Food Drive! The due date for this event is Friday, November 16th, 2018. We will be collecting apples and/or oranges, rolls, green beans, corn, collard greens, cranberry sauce, crushed tomatoes, mixed vegetables, stuffing, mac and cheese, cornbread mix, and gravy. The homeroom with the most donations for each grade by the due date will win a secret prize!
The Buffalow Family is holding a free community Thanksgiving Dinner! This is their 9th Annual year of doing this. This event will be held on Thursday, November 22nd, 2018. It will be held at 19th and B Street, Chesapeake, VA 23324. If you end up stopping by make sure to thank them!
Last but not least, the Buffalow Family will be taking donations for the Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas food baskets, and Warm and Fuzzy Christmas items for people in need.
